lol so I checked Tumblr yesterday and I saw the Ashfur drinking game. And basically you had to take a shot everytime you saw Ashfur being typical Newprophecyandon Ashfur. You know, fire, sad, tears, hollyleaf, xscourge. all that.

So I decided to give those brave souls some justice and a few more scrolls before getting the hangover of their life.

And plus. Fuck, people need to give credit for Ash/paw/. That cat's optimism could put Cinderpaw's to shame. YouthinkimjokinglookinthefirstseriesErinswhatthefuckhaveyoudone

OOOHHHH. And I want to mention that I do "support" Ashfur. However, I think it's silly to deny he was batshit insane by the end. I personally think he broke not when Squirrelflight first broke up with him, but at the fire. I think when he worked with Hawkfrost he was genuine in trying to prove to Squirrelflight that the son of his mother's murderer was just as evil. After he realized he was in the wrong, he secluded himself n whatever. And then when he taught Lionblaze I think he honestly cared for his apprentice. But as Lionblaze grew up he lost him too, and when he was given the opportunity to make Squirrelflight pay for the shit she caused, he sure as hell took it.

I very much agree with the "he had a chance and he took it" because he started to help. He dragged the branch over and made the bridge then probably thought "Wait... WHY am I helping her?"

Good art, and I wish there was more art of Ashpaw, especially when he and Fernpaw led the dogs.
