Contest Entry for:

I typically have a favorite warriorcat for each series within the saga and since I've drawn every other character I decided to go with CrookedStar's Promise; Mapleshade.

MapleShade is in my opinion, the best character because of her clever diversions to keep Crookedpaw under the influence of herself. Though obviously no Starclan cat could sympathize her choices even with her terrible past; she found the Dark Forest a fitting home as she cursed her mate's kin with her deception. Once she had gotten her share and taken what should have been hers, she left Crookedstar with nothing left in his life but a dying clan. Even though she was ultimately cruel and unforgiving, she was brilliant and powerful; a rare gem tossed away and shunned.
