And now for a timeline thing.

January and February- At this point I was still focused on animating, by late february I wanted to get rid of the hair tufts on the cat's head's completely but wasn't sure how. At that point I also discovered CCizchillin, who even now improved my anatomy by the tons. After the hollyleaf amv was completed, her style assisted me on getting rid of those useless head fuzzies.

March and April - I learned how cat legs work! What a break through, that the joints are about abdomen-length! I was also looking into a realistic style. Sai had already broken(Little did I know it didn't "break", I had just accidentally had the stablizer on S-15. 5 months of not using my favorite program for a stupid reason lmao) so I had started getting the hang of photoshop

May and June - Ahh, and thus started my side-view for cats. I feel like I was at some point an Egyptian for all of the side views I draw. Either way, they are the angle I can really get the hang of, and by that point I switched from anatomy to shading. by June I started getting into silhouettes, partially out of laziness.

July and August - Still a nut for side views, though now I had better proportions for cat faces and learned how cat ears work! Until then I hadn't realized the fluffies on the cheeks led up to the side of the outer ear!

September and October - quite obviously the highlight of my year. Despite being preoccupied by school, I'm quite proud of the details I'd been working on. Both in MS Paint and Sai, I tried out realistic cats.

November and December - hgnn, humans. Humans are right up my alley I think, once I get the groove of it. Despite it being a terribly unproductive month otherwise, the works I did attempt on digitally came out alright. I didn't put enough work into November's highlight though. December's is fairly simple, however this month I'm getting the hang of original ideas.
