(Note: Im generally talking about those within the Warriors fandom, since that's the fandom I have the most personal experience with, but that said you could probably apply some of this stuff to popular artists/animators in other fandoms.)
Ok so lately (though this has been going on for like 9 million years) I see a lot of things like
"Oh yeah most famous artists/animators are so arrogant"
"Yeah as soon as they get famous, like 90% of animators are just rude and act superior to their fans."
"All they care about anymore is fame and they think they're so much better.." Etc etc...
..Am I the only one that hasn't really noticed this???
I mean I've definitely seen some arrogant or rude people before with at least decent amount of internet fame, but I would not amount it to 90% or anywhere close to that. Maybe half? Probably quite a bit less than half.
But I can't seem to figure out why popular artists are generally viewed this way.

when animators start to get even a little bit well known they REALLY let it go to their heads. And like, they typically instantly separate themselves from their "dumb and highly inferior" fanbase.

And they instantly get their feathers ruffled at the slightest bit of critique.
like, back in my waybackwhen amvs, there were a couple scenes that resembled Flighty's. I didn't mean to at the time, but factually I did.
What I appreciate, is that flighty didn't call me out on them, but here's the deal. Assuming that she saw the videos, she knew exactly what scenes I took.
While she didn't tell me that I took them, she can pick out work that she did.
SO I think it's kind of silly when I see scenes that I did in other animator's work, and they're too high and mighty to even acknowledge that they might have even barely been inspired by someone else.

Omen of the Stars VENTAnimation is really getting to me, and im getting upset, so I'm going to vent a bit about the Omen of the Stars Warriors arc, and these will be some things I haven't really seen brought up much, here goes.

Firstly, I have been in such shitty moods lately and I posted a couple vent art things or whatever and you are all so sweet and ohmygoodness ;w; you legitimately brightened my day when I saw your comments. on a similar note, I have been so rude lately.
